Mission Statement
Mission Statement: “Rising Stars Preschool is a local non-profit preschool that provides a safe and structured learning environment for children in La Pine and the surrounding areas. We strive to deliver an age appropriate, low cost program that meets the needs of all children and families. With the goal of preparing children to readily transition from Preschool to Kindergarten, we will contribute to the beginning of success for the future of their educational years.”
The History Behind Rising Stars Preschool
It was in 2003 that Kristi Otteni put the bug in the ear of Shawna and Christy to start a Preschool in La Pine. They gave it some thought and opened Rising Stars Preschool with 24 kids and a long waiting list, in 2004.
